Picked a single sentence from this post to remember, and a look at nolarobond gave me another to keep, content that produces memorable lines is doing more than just transferring information and the small selection of sentences I keep from each reading session is one of the actual returns I get from reading carefully.

So — been on this thing for maybe four months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d write something up since a mate asked me a few days back. Am UK based, mainly bet football and racing, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

What got me on it was actually embarrassing — I couldn’t ever figure out what an each way return would be once you get five places instead of three. I’d just eyeball it and then be surprised. Now type the odds in first, every time, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator tool is the bit I open most — you drop in stake and odds and it spits out returns with no faffing, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at matched betting calculator save the student and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

One thing that genuinely changed how I bet were the nerdier extras. They’ve got an probability calculator that shows what margin’s baked in, and a kelly staking tool — I use half kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one gets used a fair bit if I’m covering two or three runners.

It’s not perfect mind. The layout is a bit basic — no frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s fine though the acca grid are a squeeze. And no proper app, just the site — fine by me but worth saying.

Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, works. If anyone honestly adds it up in their head, try it — saves me a load of arguments with the bookie.

OK — been on this thing for about four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, generally bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.

The reason I started using it was actually embarrassing — I could never figure out what an e/w payout actually was when the place terms changed. Basically I’d guess and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in before every slip, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator tool is the one I open most — you drop in your stake, the odds and it spits out the return with no faffing, fractions or decimals. It also handles the fiddly ones — acca and treble maths, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, and that’s where I always lose track. Have a go yourself, it’s here football treble bet and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

One thing that really changed how I bet were the nerdier tools. The probability thing that shows the overround, plus a kelly staking calculator — I use half kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutching one is handy too when I’m splitting a race.

It’s not perfect mind. Its design looks a bit basic — not much polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it works though the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s no app, just the site — doesn’t bother me but worth saying.

So yeah. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does the job. If you even now does the maths on paper, have a look — saved me a load of arguments with the bookie.

Reading this gave me a small mental break from the heavier reading I had been doing, and a stop at xelariounion extended that lighter feel, content that provides relief without becoming trivial is harder to produce than people realise and this site has clearly figured out how to be light without being shallow at all.

Approaching this site through a casual link click and being surprised by what I found, and a look at ulvionbond extended the surprise, the rare experience of stumbling into excellent independent content rather than predictable mediocrity is one of the actual remaining pleasures of casual web browsing and this site provided it cleanly.

Even from a single post the editorial care is clear, and a stop at cavaroline extended that care across more pages, the kind of attention to quality that shows up in every paragraph is what separates serious sites from the rest and this one has clearly invested in that paragraph level attention across what I have read.
