Right — been using this thing for maybe a few months now and I keep coming back, so figured I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I’m based in the UK, generally stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, for context.

How I found it was honestly a bit daft — I never could get my head round what an each way return would be when the place terms changed. I’d just guess and get a shock. These days I stick my stake in before I place anything, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and it shows returns straight away, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it lives at odds converter percentage — free, no signup.

The thing that really shifted things for me is the more serious extras. They’ve got an odds-to-probability converter which shows you the overround, and a kelly staking tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutching one is decent when I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. Its design looks very functional, let’s say — no polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it works although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. And nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. Anyone who still works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saved me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.

A piece that reads like it was written for me without claiming to be written for me, and a look at xelariounion produced the same fit, when the writer audience match clicks naturally without being engineered through demographic targeting you know the writing is solid and this site has that natural fit consistently for me.

So — been on this thing for about four months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. Am based in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

The reason I started using it was honestly pretty stupid — I never could figure out what an e/w return would be when the place terms changed. Basically I’d eyeball it and then be surprised. Now I type the odds in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator tool is the part I use most — you drop in the price and your stake and it shows returns instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, honestly that’s where I’d always got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it’s here smarkets — free, no signup.

The thing that really made a difference is the geekier extras. The implied probability thing that shows the overround, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I use half kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is handy too when I’m covering two or three runners.

It’s not perfect mind. Its interface feels a bit basic — zero flash, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it works but the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. And no app, just the site — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, works. If anyone still adds it up in their head, give it a go — saves me a fair few arguments with the bookie.

Well crafted post, the structure flows naturally from one point to the next without forcing transitions, and a stop at maverotrustline kept the same flow going, you can tell when a writer has thought about how their content reads rather than just what it contains and this is one of those examples.

Right — been using this thing for something like a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, mostly stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was genuinely embarrassing — I could never figure out what an each way return actually came to once you get five places instead of three. I’d just wing it and get a shock. These days I type the odds in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator is the one I open most — type in your stake, the odds and it shows returns straight away, either odds format. There’s also the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, and that’s where most people I know got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it lives at how much is a 50p each way lucky 15 — free, no signup.

One thing that really made a difference is the more serious extras. They’ve got an odds-to-probability thing and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly criterion tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is decent for when I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. Its layout is pretty plain — zero frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s usable but the acca grid are a squeeze. And nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — fine by me but you asked.

So yeah. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, works. If you even now adds it up in their head, give it a go — it’s saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.

My time on this site has now extended past what I had budgeted, and a stop at sega-live keeps extending it further, content that overstays its budget in my schedule is content that has earned the extra time and this site has been earning extra time across multiple visits to the point where my schedule needs adjustment.
