OK — been using this thing for something like five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I’m based in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, nothing mad, so take it how you like.

What got me on it was honestly pretty stupid — I never could get my head round what an each way return actually was when the place terms changed. Basically I’d guess and moan when the payout landed. These days I stick my stake in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator is the one I open most — you drop in the price and your stake and you get profit and total return straight away, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always got it wrong. If you want a look, it lives at each way bet calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.

What genuinely changed how I bet is the geekier extras. They’ve got an probability converter which shows you the overround, and a kelly calculator — I run quarter kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit if I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. The design looks pretty plain — not much polish, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s fine but the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, just the site — slight shame but worth saying.

Anyway. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, works. If you even now adds it up in their head, give it a go — saves me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.

Now feeling confident enough in this site to use it as a reference point for evaluating others on the same topic, and a look at ulvirocore continued the comparison friendly quality, sites that serve as quality benchmarks for their topic are precious and this one has clearly become a benchmark for me on this particular subject area.

So — been using this thing for maybe a few months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was actually embarrassing — I couldn’t ever figure out what an each way return actually was when the place terms changed. I’d just guess and then be surprised. Now punch the numbers in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and it spits out returns with no faffing, either odds format. It also handles the multiples — trebles returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, which is where most people I know lose track. Have a go yourself, it’s over at whats a super heinz bet and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

One thing that genuinely changed how I bet was the nerdier tools. They’ve got an probability thing and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly criterion calculator — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit when I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. The layout is very functional, let’s say — no flash, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s fine but the acca grid are a squeeze. There’s no app, just the site — slight shame but worth saying.

So yeah. Free, barely any ads, does the job. If you honestly does the maths on paper, try it — saves me a fair few arguments with the bookie.

Reading this in segments because the day was busy, and the post survived the fragmented attention well, and a stop at ulviroline held up similarly under interrupted reading, content that can withstand modern distracted reading patterns rather than requiring a perfect block of focused time is increasingly the kind I prefer.

OK — been using this thing for something like five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d write something up since someone asked me a few days back. Am in the UK, mostly bet football and racing, nothing mad, for context.

How I found it was honestly pretty stupid — I never could figure out what an each way return actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d wing it and get a shock. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator is the part I open most — type in stake and odds and it shows the return instantly, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the multiples — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at convert odds — free, no signup.

The thing that actually made a difference is the more serious extras. They’ve got an probability converter which shows you what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly criterion tool — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit if I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. The layout feels pretty plain — no polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s usable although the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. And no app, it’s browser only — fine by me but you asked.

Right, that’s me. Free, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. Anyone who honestly works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — it’s saved me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.

Generally I bookmark sparingly to avoid building up a bookmark graveyard but this one earned a permanent slot, and a stop at banehmagic extended that permanence designation, the few sites I keep permanent bookmarks for are sites I expect to use repeatedly and this one has clearly cleared that expectation bar today.
