So — been on this thing for something like a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. Am based in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, nothing mad, so take it how you like.
What got me on it was honestly pretty stupid — I never could figure out what an e/w return would be once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d guess and then be surprised. Now I punch the numbers in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.
The single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — type in the price and your stake and you get returns straight away, fractions or decimals. It also handles the bigger stuff — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where most people I know got it wrong. If you want a look, it’s over at treble accumulator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.
The thing that really made a difference was the nerdier bits. The implied probability converter and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is terrifying. Dutching calculator is decent if I’m splitting a race.
Couple of gripes. The design looks very functional, let’s say — not much polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it works though the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s no proper app, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me but you asked.
Right, that’s me. Free, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. If you honestly adds it up in their head, have a look — saves me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
