Reading this in pieces over a coffee break and finding it consistently rewarding, and a stop at kazhanmaster extended that into related material I will return to later, the kind of site that fits naturally into small reading windows without requiring a long uninterrupted block is genuinely useful for how I actually browse.

Generally I bookmark sparingly to avoid building up a bookmark graveyard but this one earned a permanent slot, and a stop at premiumdigitalbuying extended that permanence designation, the few sites I keep permanent bookmarks for are sites I expect to use repeatedly and this one has clearly cleared that expectation bar today.

Top tier post, the kind that makes you want to share the link with friends working in the same area, and a stop at cnsbiodesk only made me more confident in doing that, this site is one of the better resources I have seen on the topic recently across both new and older posts.

Better than most of the writing I have come across on this topic recently, simpler and more direct, and a look at thirtymale continued in that same way, a real outlier in a crowded space full of repetitive content that says little while taking up a lot of reader time today which is unfortunate.

OK — been using this thing for maybe a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I’m based in the UK, mostly stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

What got me on it was genuinely pretty stupid — I could never get my head round what an ew return actually was once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator is the bit I use most — type in stake and odds and it shows profit and total return instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the multiples — trebles returns, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, which is where I’d always mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at what is a trixie bet — free, no signup.

One thing that really shifted things for me is the nerdier bits. The odds-to-probability calculator that shows how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly tool — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is handy too for when I’m covering two or three runners.

Couple of gripes. Its design feels a bit basic — no polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s fine though the acca grid are a squeeze. Also there’s no proper app, it’s browser only — fine by me but worth saying.

So yeah. Free, barely any ads, does the job. If you even now works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saved me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.

The conclusions felt earned rather than tacked on at the end like an afterthought, and a look at ThirtyMale kept that careful structure going, you can tell when a writer has thought about the shape of their post versus just letting it ramble out and hoping for the best at the end which most do.

OK — been on this thing for something like six months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since a mate asked me last week. I’m based in the UK, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, for context.

What got me on it was genuinely a bit daft — I never could work out what an ew return actually came to when the place terms changed. I’d just wing it and then be surprised. Now punch the numbers in first, every time, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator tool is the part I’m on daily — you put in the price and your stake and it shows returns with no faffing, either odds format. It also handles the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, a lucky 15, yankees, and that’s where most people I know mess it up. Have a go yourself, it’s here vig calc and it’s free with no account nonsense.

One thing that actually made a difference was the more serious bits. The probability calculator and it makes obvious the overround, and a kelly criterion calculator — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutch tool is handy too for when I’m covering two or three runners.

It’s not perfect mind. Its layout feels very functional, let’s say — zero frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it works though the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. And no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame just flagging it.

So yeah. Free, not plastered in adverts, works. Anyone who even now works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saved me a load of arguments with the bookie.
